‹‹ back 05-29-2010 First Workshop on Urban and Transportation Planning for the Holy City of Makkah The first Workshop on urban and transportation planning was held in Jeddah on May 29 and 30. Dr.-Ing. Manfred F. Brenner and Dipl.-Geogr. Dirk Kopperschläger from our company and Dr.techn. Jürgen Karajan from Karajan Ingenieure Stuttgart, participated on behalf of bw-engineers.
bw-engineers Stuttgart will be contracted to prepare the Masterplan for Transport and Traffic of the Holy City of Makkah in cooperation with Zuhair Fayez Partnership Consultants, Jeddah. The participants of the workshop, the management level of the Municipality and consultants involved, focussed on current problems and deficiencies and defined first theses, concerning planning targets and primary fields of action. Dr.-Ing. Brenner presented the methodology and the data needed for developing the trip generation and assignment models. ‹‹ back
