The 20 km long East-West-Axis belongs to the most important primary roads of Makkah with specific importance during the Hajj and Umrah seasons. The project on behalf of bw-engineers, Stuttgart, will be executed in cooperation with Zuhair Fayez Partnership, Jeddah, and Karajan Ingenieure, Stuttgart. The assignment comprises traffic surveys, traffic modeling, development and analysis of alternative planning solutions, simulation studies to identify the superior measures and conceptual design services.
