On behalf of GGSC Khartoum and the Ministry of Physical Planning and Public Utilities, Khartoum State, works started on upgrading of major intersections of the primary urban road network in the Sudanese capital city. The project, which is getting executed in cooperation with WSI Frankfurt/Main, includes preliminary and final design services for transforming currently at-grade intersections to grade-separated solutions with the target of providing sufficient capacity under status-quo and future traffic loads. Specific requirements result from the location of the intersections in sensitive urban environments.
